Thanks John! Bear in mind that the Bigma certainly needs a lot of light and my particular model isn't that sharp stopped down to its lowest aperture, making things even more difficult to get a good sharp shot. I think I am getting my sharpest results at around F16 with the Bigma! The higher iso performance of the D300 helps me compensate for that a bit though

Thanks Jack/John! The Bigma is nice enough, but I still want a nice prime!

Did you think "what" for "where", Gus?
The TD shot is neat...the lines of the antenna actually aid the comp...except for that little bit in the upper left...

I've found that My bigma shoots sharpest at f8, but I shoot it at 6.3 a lot. My d300 though seems to need to be stopped down to -1 ev on almost every shot

Thanks Dave! Well I had never really tried much at other apertures because of the loss of light, but I was more impressed with it at smaller apertures Funny enough, I think these were shot with it up to +0.7 ev...

Well...you coulda added a little canvas on top while you were at it!
Thanks Al. Yeah I wasn't happy with it for a while, but thought I'd give it another go, seeing as I had got some pretty decent shots with it in the past. Glad I did! I have only been using a monopod. I wanna get a decent tripod, but want to fork out for a decent one that I won't have to upgrade later. However, having just moved from Japan to Aus, funds are a bit tight right now...

I know we need to give some credit to the photographer, but that Bigma is working well for you.
Interesting subjects, nicely captured. Good series.
Cheers
