Funny what you find in your back yard, ain't it? In this case, I never really thought about the fact that there was a bike trail/ park within walking distance (or, well, biking distance) to our house.

This seemed a little out of place:

Along the river there are some old, beat up piers no longer in use:

Watch that first step:

The bike trail:

The mighty Genesee River -- the source of Genny Beer. (Sorry.)

Some boaters down there, but not as many as I would have thought. 'Course, it was a little late for fishing ... (10-11 am.)

Thanks for letting me share. I like to think that I'm slowly getting better. C&C welcome.

This looks like a lovely place to bike, and perhaps even watch some birds at the right time of day?

The midday sun isn't doing much for me, but I could see potential over the water on a nice sunrise or sunset.

A tigher crop, but not too much would help #1. A nice place to visit.

    Cheers.

Or use a ND Gradient filter? Doh! Still learning!

Might try to do a digital ND Grad and see if I can tame those skies a little bit. Thanks for the feedback.
