You think #80 was complicated? :wink Wait till you get your hands onto this one :rofl
This time your task is to find/arrange for a really good lighting and take a picture with both your good camera (dslr?) and some really cheap, auto-everything P&S (or even a cell phone). The idea is to try and see how much a god light can improve the crappy light-capturing capabilities of those tiny devices.
Your entry should contain minimum two images, one from each device, taken, hopefully, within seconds of each other, both SOOC. Please also include a brief project description and some specs on each device.
For bonus points you may add post-processed versions, so we could see how well each image responds to additional treatment.
Fresh pictures, minimal post-processing for the mandatory two frames, go have a ball with the bonus versions.
Multiple entries are OK provided they are showing totally different subject and under different lighting conditions.
Let's try to capture a good light with a bad camera!

    Hi,
Well, i guess i have to be the first to post this assignment (also my first assignment post, hope that i'm doing it ok rolleyes1.gif), so there it goes. Both photos were taken with the most similar conditions that it was possible (i think).
Some PP to do a little crop, to match sizes, and also some color correction

#1 - taken with my cell phone SonyEricson V630i (2Mp Cybershot camera)

    #2 - taken with my Canon 400D

I have been wanting to get some close ups of this old fire truck for a while now so I figured it might be good for this assignment. Both pictures are straight off the camera except for a little straightening and cropping. Oh and the RAW conversion for the good camera.

    From a Kodak DX3500 circa 2001
