When this little girl comes up and scares him:

Then she actually starts chasing him:

He flies away, but I cannot capture it :cry

The legs in the background and the bird ready to take off, priceless.

Nice images and "hair" Dan. Also nice shot of the culprit's feet!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

We have a duck like that at the "wetlands" here (Vegas). Ours is all white though, making him even more difficult to photo than this cream/dirty one. Great shot thumb.gif

Yeah, I hate kids - they really seem to like messing up photos like that. The last one is great though.

Too bad her mom would have called the cops if you started chasing her yelling "hey little girl! hey little girl" and waving your camera and tripod wildly (as I'm sure she was waving her arms wildly).

Then again, parents don't seem to pay attention to the kids who do this kinda stuff...maybe thats why they do it.ne_nau.gif

I think its ok. My camera just seems picky and hates bad exposures. As a reality check i used my compact today (Panisonic Lumix LX2) - the noise at ISO400 on that cam looks like the noise i get on my 40D at ISO1600 ne_nau.gif
