Another Sunset in Cold Spring Harbor

Took this when I was leaving my grandmothers yesterday. I know the boats are a little blurry, i didn't do much besides tone mapping and combining a few photos. I didn't set the software to align the images... but ignore the boats, lol

Hi Adam,

Really nice light in the sky and the water and the clouds are pretty cool, too.

But my eyes are missing a real focal point and the little dots (floats) in the water aren't helping - I am zigzagging all over the place.

I'd also prefer it if there was some at least some detail in the line of trees. I have a fairly bright monitor but all I see is a dark wall.

Overall a nice shot though and you certainly captured the water and sky well.

Hmmm...how to say this nicely...tough.

It's pretty. But then again, lots of shots are pretty. It doesn't move me. I'd suggest wadding out into the muck and try for a shot that no one else would attempt because it requires trooping out into the muck to get it.

for me, IMHO, itt is missing a subject.
