First off, I must say thanks to Lord Vetinari for the well written tutorial on how to do this. This are single shots, not stacked. One step at a time :D

    Thanks Skippy,
    I was happy to see these come out the way they did. With things this small, you never know until you load it up. It took a while to figure it out but now I think I am getting the concept.

    Wonderful!
    They look like little worlds! Little snowglobes! At first my eye didn't go right to the dewdrops, i looked around the picture first but when I did look at the dewdrop I got an eyeball full of the flower and the surrounding area. Truly fantastic!

    Very nice job on the drops. What lens and camera did you use and any flash?

    I was trying to do something like that myself the other day...but it didnt turn out as nice as i wanted to. :cry Not even close to your or Lord V. I was woundering if its the leaf or branching that the water drop is onheadscratch.gif. I was woundering what kind of leaf or branch you're are used? I see a few others taking the drops pictures too and the leaf or branch looks the same. eek7.gif This is what i got... NOTHING like your or Lord V. ne_nau.gif

    Thanks again everyone.

    Carebear,
    I was using the Canon 24-70mm 2.8L with a 36mm extension tube. We haven't seen the sun in weeks (very weird) so I improvised. I used two 500 watt halogen lights on stands, set back about 5 feet and my Speedlight 430EX with diffuser for fill. The drops were on a type of sage, I thinkne_nau.gif … Keep working on it, it took me a while to get it to work for me. And again, I highly recommend reading Bryans tutorial http://www.flickr.com/groups/macroviewers/discuss/72157594313729574

    The other stuff:
    Make = Canon
    Model = Canon EOS 40D
    Orientation = top/left
    Software = Adobe Photoshop CS2 Windows
    Date Time = 2008-06-09 07:46:27

    [Camera]
    Exposure Time = 1/250"
    F Number = F11
    Exposure Program = Manual
    ISO Speed Ratings = 160
    Flash = Flash fired, compulsory flash mode
    Focal Length = 70mm
