For sale is a Canon EF 400 f/5.6L lens. This lens has a date code of US1209 which means it was produced in December of 2004 and originally sold some time in 2005, making it 3 years old. I purchased this from a fellow forum member on Pixel-Shooter.com.
The lens is spotless inside and out. The only thing that prevents me from describing it as pristine is the usual paint scuffs on the tripod ring. Other than that, it's like new. It comes complete with the original lens caps (front and rear) and original soft case.
The reason I am selling this lens is that I rarely use it, reaching for my 300 f/2.8 almost 99% of the time. No point in storing it so it's up for sale.
