Just got Tokina's new 11-16mm lens and I have to say I'm pretty impressed.

Not having an ultra wide lens for the past couple of years has been a hardship. :cry

Although this is a zoom it feels more like a fixed lens. Not much difference between the 11mm setting compared to the 16mm setting. It most instances you can just take a couple steps forward or backward to get the same view.

But it sure is sharp.

Check out these two photos from this past weekend. The shot with the Lilacs has a little bit of movement in some of the flowers but for the most part it is sharp all the way through. Wind was gusting to 30 mph off of Lake Michigan.

I kept trying to snag one for myself, but they were nowhere to be found in stock, so I went with the Canon 10-22. Both are phenomenal lenses.
