A thorn between flowers

A feel like this photo explains our spring-summer weather.
It tricks the flowers with one good day and then hits them with some cold weather that kills them.
This one seems to have pierced itself through before the end.

Try some PS levels and maybe some selective layer masking to get all the detail in the stems.
