OK we're getting better, not where I wanna be yet though...This is my first try with multiple flashes, was not trying anything specific, just wanted to play with 3 SB-800's. It was WAY too foggy (hot airflow in cold mine) to even try this but I had fun anyway :D The CLS system has quite a few drawbacks for what I'm trying to do, thinking I will go with the Radio Poppers right after I go see my banker. Shot with D300, 18-200mm VR, 3 SB-800's plus the on camera flash. Rear center flash (you can see it under the boom lift) is zoomed at 105mm at full power (was tring to light the backstope but it was too foggy), flashes on each side are about 1/5, camera flash was way low.

    Randy,
I think its cool. Remote flash is really a great tool - I love to use it when I have an area I want to shoot from different angles - it really frees me up for composition and distance.

Keep up the good work - plug away so you can learn how to keep it in your toolbox and setup a great lighting design when the time comes.
