Some Antarctic landscapes from a new guy.

Here are a few shots from the Antarctic Peninsula area. All pictures are from the last month or so, taken with a K100D Super. I haven't done any thing to the pictures besides convert from RAW to JPG.

    Antarctica!!! A dream of mine.

    It looks as though you had (are having?) a great time there. You've captured some really stunning sunsets over that ice. thumb.gif

    Thanks for the kind words, I suppose I should fill in my profile.
    But to answer your question, I'm working at Palmer Station. I'm the station Electrician, here supporting scientists on grants from the NSF while I'm working for RPSC.
    Temperature wise it stays near freezing, pretty much all year.

    Thanks for the remarks. It's easy to to take sunrise/set pictures when that's about the only light you get.
