Black-Necked Stilt in Flight

I've been trying to capture a Black-Necked Stilt in flight for a few weeks. The challenge is this is a man-made catch basin that's about 6 feet tall and surrounded by a chain link fence...and I'm in a wheelchair (for now), so it's hard to see at the birds at times.
Hope to get one that is facing me, but for now I'm pretty happy with these.
Canon 5D, 300mm f/4L IS, 1.4TC, HH
ISO 400, 1/1600, f/7.1

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I like how he's hanging out there on the upper left too. Awesome pics!
