This was the sweet natural light that comes about 8 pm, with the setting sun tucked behind a tree or two.
Well flash or no flash, it is a beautifully captured photograph. I saw the hightlights, and incorrectly guessed that you had used flash. Not that any was needed if this is natural. Its great!!!

Thanks, Jeff. I feel like this kind of light is fool proof and can make anyone look like they know what they're doing!

Well, Good natural light is magic. FWIW, I consider myself a natural light photographer even though I use flash nowdays on most of what I do. I see so many photographs these days where the strobes are driving the lighting in the photo. I still let mother nature do her thing, and then just add in a bump here and there when needed. Of course if it isn't needed it isn't needed.
