My wife and I returned on Monday from the flying weekend @ Temora, in western NSW, Australia.
This was my first attempt at an airshow AND using the 200-400 for a length of time.
All the images were hand-held and was quite impressed that I managed to last the day with this beast!
We had a great weekend with beautiful fine days and can thoroughly recommend the trip.

Love these pictures and your others. Excellent photography. +++ thumb.gif
Not sure I've seen a Spitfire with that nose art before. If I have I just
can't remember it or where. :D

Nicely done clap.gif What did you think of shooting an airshow? and what about the lens?

I looked at your album, also; Everytime I see a Canberra I just can't help but thinking it's beautiful because it is so ugly that it has come around to beautiful again lol3.gif I like this one also.

PS: This is not a lear jet, but a Gulfstream G-V thumb.gif

    Hi Ivar

Being my first time at shooting an Airshow, I really had a ball wings.gif
I love the 200-400 and it worked a treat for most of the shots, despite the weight, you can get used to it.
Many thanks for your positive comments.
Also thanks for the heads up on the Private jet thumb.gif

    Cheers

Very nice series. I really enjoy shooting at airshows.....I'm sure it will grow on you too. Good luck.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.
