Hey folks! Its been a long time but I've tried to keep shooting. Its high time to share a few and start a new learning cycle with my Dgrin friends:thumb
It may be a long post so bear with me or punch out now:D
A few from the Birch aquarium in San Diego (@35mm)
My occasionally cooperative backyard cardinal (600mm f4 + 1.4 TC)
The local grackle
The Blues of Mexico, NY
YWBB from Montezuma NWR
Backyarder
RTH from Montezuma with car as blind
Red rings from Montezuma. Yes, I do see I blew the bill highlights:cry It was midday and I was more or less forced into choosing the interesting dark detail or the whites in the bill. I wish I didn't blow them quite so badly though...
Angry old coot from Montezuma as shot from car.
And one of the reasons I don't get to shoot (birds) as much anymore.
Meet Jake!
And hello from Kuma for those who know him
Thanks for looking and it sure is good to get some time to post again!!

Great shots, definitely remind me of home. Especially the blue birds, they're always how you KNOW that spring is just around the corner.

Thanks Jeff. With all the baby pictures I have taken I'd have enough posting material for a year in the people forum!
Dude, I'm always in need of Dgrin help. Mrs. Doc, Jake, and Kuma all send their best.:D
Hey buddy I've been wondering where you were at. Jake's adorable. Don't be such a stranger around here.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Yeah why didn't eye think of that

Thanks Erik. Back home you knew it was spring when the SDSU girls had been wearing bikinis for 3 months already.
Thanks so much Glen!
