Afternoon Folks,
I have an older laptop (about 6 yrs) that suddenly started to get dim. If I close the top slightly, the brightness is restored. If I try to open it up completely, it gets dim. The laptop in question is made by Balance-Digital. Never had any problems with it until now. Any suggestions ? Thank you :thumb
Have a good day :D

A ribbon cable connecting the display to the motherboard might be worn? I've got an 8-year-old laptop display that goes crazy unless the lid is at just a certain angle. You could try replacing the cable.

Good Afternoon & Thank You thumb.gif
I guess I have a weekend project to look forward to. As long as it's replaceable and hopefully not hard wired to the board, I'll give it a shot.
    Have a good afternoon :D
