Best battery?

Please share your opinion on a 3rd party battery for a 1D mark IIn. I have not had the best of luck with "Black Diamond" brand myself. I would like to think that there is a 3rd party cell that is at least as good as the Canon OEM, but I may be wrong in that... The OEM pack is just so EXPENSIVE!!!

    Thanks for the idea, but they don't carry a NP-E3 replacement.

    Have you tried eBay ? Ive found the batterys there for the 20/30D to outlast the originals & ive run them side by side for several years.

    That has been my experience with my 20D too, but not for my 1D. I have been through several 3rd party batteries in it. I really don't like the idea of spending $120 on a battery that is for sure, but the more I read the more I think it would be the best choice.

    I would certainly like more opinions though. thumb.gif

    I found a good price on the Delkin replacement, on E-bay. THose come with 2 year warranty's.... Not bad!

    I also found an "Energizer" version on Amazon, anyone have opinions on these?
