These are everywhere in Hiroshima along the river.

Thanks Harry. If I remember right, that day was quite overcast. Probably good for shooting that little fella, but horrible for shooting the black kites, which is what I went to do...
Very handsome shrike! It looks almost identical to the loggerhead shrike we have here in the US except for the rufous chest and belly plumage.
Thanks Steve. I haven't seen any here in Aus, but I probably wouldn't have known what I was looking at when I used to live here. I'll keep an eye out now.
