First tries....

Today i played for the first time with my D300 en the Sigma 105mm Macro.. And here are some results:

    welcome, good first trys. natural light i presume. a bit of added contrast in photoshop might add a bit to them. good compositions well done.

    Always room for improvement as you become more familiar with the gear.

    These are al ittle on the light side, you are definitly there for composition.

    Pretty good, and I bet the next lot will be even better thumb.gif ... Skippy :D

    Phil,

    Thanks for the tip about the contrast. Will play with that to see what it does with the picture.
    Ans yes, i did not use any flash, just the sunlight on a bright day.

    New toys are always nice... As Phil suggested to play with constrast, it might be good to compensate for the lighting also. I shot then in RAW so i have room enough to play with.
    I concentrated too much on the subject to get it right in the picture. Practice is needed to get all parameters right. I did not use a tripod, shot it 'from the hip' . So next time i will try to follow up some tips and tricks mentioned in this forum.
