I went and checked out a new place Sunday morning. I wasn't counting, but I found around 15 Jumping Spiders in a 30 sq ft area! I was ecstatic!
I took 244 images in 2.5 hours. I captured 3 different Jumpers with prey. I think I will be going back there.
Just a sample of what I captured......
1
Eat or be eaten.

All were shot with 3 Tubes and Sigma 150, handheld.
5
Jumper with Hopper.

Hi there Jody, gosh these little Jumping Spider as so fast, and obviously pretty swift when they go in for the kill.
Wow look at the difference in the head sizes to the first Jumper and its prey.
Excellent Series how lucky were you to find so many and with prey as well :ivar ... Skippy

Great shots. I am still looking for my first jumping spider. I don't think they like Scotland.
