There is an old train station in the middle of town that was put out of commission a long time ago. I had a some time to kill today so I thought I would go shoot some pics. Here's what i came up with:
Old abandoned car:
The train station in color:
In B&W, which I prefer:
Thanks for looking. As always critiques or improvement ideas welcomed.

I enjoyed the other images but, the composition and subject of this one is cool to look at. My first impression tho', is that the contrast is a bit extreme. I can see how you may have been doing this for effect but, it is not quite doing it for me. Unfortunately, I don't have suggestions to fix it due to my lack of ps skills- I just keep working with it

If you want that "dated" look, then B&W, sepia, or some variation of duotone would work well, IMO. For color, there's not much happening in the scene, so I agree with Sid. either some sort of dreamy color look like what you get from say the Ethereal Glow Action. Or, maybe even a paint treatment like the Hayes Island Cafe Action.
Not that your images or treatments were bad. Just a couple of ideas to take these types of shots beyond the ordinary
And what's up with that old railcar? Don't you guys sell spraypaint up there? :lol :lol There's not much graffiti on that car. Down here, they tag them while they are rolling down the tracks.....lol
