I really like your layered reflection of the birds. Very cool! The first butterfly is cool, was he sunning? I like the second butterfly but wish he was completely in the shot. Anyway, all are very good. You must of had a nice late afternoon stroll.
A single photograph can tell an entire story and bring back a multitude of memories.
Good stuff
I agree with Natalie, that layered reflection shot just sucks you right in. Very, very nice You also did real well on the Heron shots. The BIF would have been very nice without the building in the BG Your GBH guard is real nice as is the last shot. Which I believe may be a juvenile Night Heron.
Looks like you had a successful day :
Thanks for sharing,
Steve
You are right that second butterfly not the way it should of been :cry, My wife said don't post that one, but I was to excited about my 1st sunning butterfly (silly huh ). Should always listen to the little woman she is my toughest critic

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Thanks Harry

I've heard of this butterfly, and in fact know of an area backside of LAX in El Segundo that is fenced and marked "Protected Blue Butterfly Perserve". However I've never seen one
Rumor has it that LAX did that so they could get the property, used to be houses there, now nuttin, I don't think any butterflys either :lol4 :lol
