I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    So what type of race cars were you taking pictures of, they don't appear to be of the NASCAR variety?

    some type of road course cars. I forgot what its called. GT2 class or...wait thats a porsche hahaha..um...gt class gah, I forget what its called. My favorite type of racing tho...

    Hi Heather....

    These are shots of cars that ran in the IMSA series of races. The 2 big races of that series were the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 24 hour Le Mans race in France. Another major race was the 12 hour endurance run in Sebring, FL. The IMSA series has been discontinued but the venues they raced on are still being used in a follow-up series employing a more current breed of cars.

    Thanks for taking a look. Some of these paint jobs will blow you away.

    Hi Craig,

    Thanks for your kind comments. When these type cars ruled the race tracks it was, of course, easy to get pictures of them. In the ensuing years, it has become increasingly difficult to catch several of them together at any one time.
