Ahhh! Am i drunk?

So confused... A couple days ago i noticed a new link below each image that said "Save Image," and I coudl cliek it and download the original quality image... now, I am logged in, i have set view opriginals AND large selected and I cannot even see the large, original AND the new "Save Image" link is gone! I have a high dollar client freaking out about getting an image off my site and all they can gte is a 72 dpi copy. This is for a print ad! HUGE client. Is SmugMug testing new functionality on us and then removing it? OR am I just confused about soemthing??

How do I get my original images now...

anybody think I am drunk?

never mind...usually wqhen i exhaust all my efforts and make post to a board like this i find the answer mysewlf thirty seconds later...

you cannot download originals if you are in eleghant or eleganty small. i switched to Thumbs, briought up teh image and the Original, Large And "Save photo" options 'reappeared.' This is a usability issue, but heck...this app is so cool, I am not complainning. SmugMug can probably do my tax return if i kept tinkering with it...

ahhhh! Now I will open the vino!!!

    Viva La SmugMug!

Actually, it works great in Elegant and Elegant Small. Here's the criteria:

    - Originals must be allowed
    - Protected must be off

hmm... i stand corrected. Feel super sheepish now... I could not for the life of me figure out why some functionality would work in some modes and not others... I figured out where i went goofy:

    http://charleston.smugmug.com/gallery/311543/1/12421188

This image is a logo. The image is 559x368... i guess there is no need for a size option if teh image is so small that all variations are smaller than a SMall image choice. Hope that make sense. I was ina flurry to accomodate a big client, and i could not find the "Save IMag" as and i ironically checked on a couple galleries all where the first image was a small logo... It is a lil odd that teh "Save Image" button didappears on the above link, but not a usability issure liek i wa syapping about. Heck, i shodul keep my pie hole shut, and realize SmugMug is one tight app...

:-| <---- That is a shot pie hole ASCii guy.

Thanks, Don, and 1Thumb for your always quick replies.
