This is the first in a series I am doing on Classic Cars. My Dad had a maroon 1941 Ford Coupe when I was a little kid. Of course minus the souped up engine and fancy paint job. :D I love American cars from the 40's 50's and 60's. Wish I had some of the cars I had during those years now!

Please let me know if these look OK. I've been told that some of my recent images look too dark.

The chevron shaped tail light is unique to the 1941 Ford

Nice series, Jack. The exposure looks fine to me.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thanks Tom. Not sure what the previous problem might have been but I suspect it might have been the fact that I had my monitor set on maximum brightness. headscratch.gif

Thanks much Bob. When I was taking them I was a bit disapointed at the overcast grey sky we had. In retrospect I think any significant bright sun would have been problematic with the high gloss paint/wax jobs on these cars.

Oohhhhh wow Seriously YELLOW ... I love it clap.gif
I'd still like to see not so much of the car cut off in your shots.

That's one very nice looking car Jack thumb.gif ... Skippy :D

Thanks Skippy. I wanted to spotlight various features of the car but probably should have included an overview as well. Point well taken.
