Uploader behavior change

The image uploaders have started automatically appending the filename into the image keyword field. Since my keywords are embedded in the IPTC and my filenames are all unique, I am not able to efficiently remove the unwanted keywords. Any way to avoid this tedious keyword editing work? :scratch

This has always been the case, only it's been a bug for a few months that they didn't do this.

Disappointing to say the least. For content management purposes, I must name my files in the following manner: "smith.john_001", which now adds 3 unwanted keywords: ("smith" ; "john" ; "001"). To remove them, I have to 1st batch-remove the 1st 2 keywords ("smith" ; "john") and then go back BY HAND to individually remove the "001", "002", etc. :cry Will you please add my concern to the uploader wish list?

Hi DAC, as I said, this isn't new behavior, it's been this way for years... just a bug for the past couple months. Sorry about that!
