    Hmmm...lots of looks...

    This is a picture that I would never take. It does not mean that you should not have taken it.

    Sunsets are some of the most spectacular images that nature provides. If my (read: MY not your) photography is aimed at trying to capture the moment and to share that moment then I don't shoot sunsets because nature and all that sunset beauty is nearly impossible to capture given the state of image capture technology.

    Now all that wonderful lighting shouldn't go to waste so I will use the sunset to supplement a subject I may be shooting near a sunset. But sunsets are impossible for me to capture correctly so I generally don't even take out a camera when it happens, unless I can find a subject that will benefit from that remarkable light and moment of nature.
