I don't know where else to ask this question. My SB800 isn't working, or shall i say isn't firing. Display and all the controls work, but no flash. Tried it on camera, thought it might be hot shoe problem, nope, tried it remotely, same thing. :scratch:scratch:scratch Changed batteries, didn't help.... Any ideas?
I'm calling Nikon for tech support, estimated waiting time is 15 min.. :lurk

:help

Hold down both the MODE and ON/OFF buttons for 2-3 seconds to reset the SB800 to all the factory default settings. This will not reset the choice of feet or meters for distance.

Thanks Slo, but that didn't do anything.
Nikon have no clue, they told me to send it for repair. I need my flash on Tuesday. :soapbox

It's a blessing in disguise. It's always good to have backups of your gear if you shoot professionally. deal.gif
