I like both of the shots.

Would like to know some of the workflow if you don't mind parting with it?

Ditto here, I'd love to hear more about how you achieved such great detail and color. thumb.gif

    for the furious,

i took double exposures blend it together.
    .5 sec and 3secs. @ f22 ISO 100

used ND8 to get more time exposures
GND .09 - to control the sky highlights

CPL- to get the contrast and to get rid the reflections in the water.

    Treatment

    Curves - Auto
Softlight Blend mode- adjust the opacity mask to get rid too much contrast.
Multiply Blend Mode - to increase the dark tones mask again...

Color Balance- according to your taste

    hi-res- resize to 1800 width

    JOEL H. GARCIA SHARPENING:

local contrast enhancement via USM .14, 40, 0
smart sharpen - value 500, .3, 0 then adjust opacity according to your taste
    Blend to fade mode luminosity

    resize to 900 width,
smart sharpen - value 500, .3, 0 then adjust opacity according to your taste
    Blend to fade mode luminosity

    Flatten.

Note- in sharpening dont sharpen the water and the sky...mask it.

    Hope it helps.

    Joel G.

Wow, very impressive. I really love the first in particular! Dramatic and moody.

Thanks for sharing your workflow, too! thumb.gif
