Best Eastern MA/Southern NH locations...

I'm looking for ideas on places to shoot in the eastern half of MA or Southern NH. I figured this might be a good place to get some ideas from.

I've already searched around for some ideas, but thought I might poll for more.

I belong to the Worcester Photography Meetup. We have a wiki at Wetpaint with a section on Places to Photograph. More being added all the time. It should be a good starting point for looking, though. It is meant to cover New England.

One place I discovered recently is the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge - http://www.fws.gov/northeast/parkerriver/ - near Newburyport. I took just a few photos on my first wander there in April, and I'll definitely be going back again. (Photo gallery at http://www.denisegoldberg.com/gallery/4760994_jZYBi if you are interested.)

I'm also drawn to the New Hampshire coast although I tend to wander there in months other than the summer.

That looks amazing! I've heard good things about Newburyport in general, sounds like I just found my weekend photo excursion.

I can recomend Parker Reserve, too. Go there a number of times a year. Of course then you have to stop in Newbury Port and at Joppa Flats Audubon while your their. Salisbury Beach across the Merrimack is good, too.

Odiorne State beach on Rt one near Rye on the way to Portsmouth is also very intersting with old bunkers and stuff from the Portsmouth WW II defense.

Lawrence MA is great for some urban shots. Lots of grit, old mills and some Hispanic-American culture. I like Lowell as well for the old mills.

I'm a sucker for some old bricks.
