    It's almost too dark, but it does set off the colors in the goldfinch. Nice image.

    Thank you for the feedback. There is next to no post processing here. However, my convert to jpg seems to darken my shots lately.

    I like the dark background. It has a nice feel to it!

    Try lowering the contrast...the luminance and saturation on the yellow too...and see what you think. Adding some saturation to the beak and feet (same color) looks like the thing to do to me.

    These actions will give you more detail and a more natural look. :D
