traveling to minnesota and wisconsen

i will traveling to minnesota and wisconsen with my new canon eos 30d in a few weeks.my brother,roy will have a point and shoot digital camera.can anyone recomend some good landscape photography areas?what type of lenses would you recomend?thank you,john

Here's a site I found that has some good locations listed. I doubt that you'll find anything as picturesque as the UP, though!
