I don't do many portraits. However, when asked, I do try my hand at it. Here are some of a recent session with a 6 month old baby. C&C are welcome.

Beautiful! Seems like you should do more babies. Number 3 is my favorite. Reminds me of pictures taken back in the day, not like the same old poses done in the mall. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you. These are of a good friend's baby--so, I'll get many more opportunities to photograph this one, as she grows up.

Thanks! I really liked #3 as well. I am limited on props, so many of my portraits are clean and simple--which I kind of like.

Thank you so much. Yes, I really like Macro photography (flowers and bugs). Most of the portraits I take tend to be mostly head shots, due to my tendency for "close-up" images.

Thank you for your comment. When friends and family tell you that they like what you do, it is nice--but, you think the compliments are just because they are your friends and family. It is nice to get C&C from fellow photographers.

Simply WOW. These are awesome. Even though the child's eyes are a huge draw in the other photos, I absolutely love the emotion in #4. I attempted a baby shoot with 3-week old twins the other day and realized just how hard it is to get that "cute" baby pic that parents think is so easy. You did great with these and have inspired me to try more.

You are right--baby/kid pictures are not always that easy. This little one was tired and had 2 teeth coming in. Thank goodness for digital photography. I took over 100 photos, just trying to get some with her smiling.
