This past weekend my folks to the kids fishing at Plum Orchard Lake (West Virginia). Shan and I joined up with them later that day and i was pleased to discover the lake was literally blooming. The lake was covered with lily pads and water lilies. Here are a few of my captures from the day. All of these were shot hand held using a tokina 18-200 on my 40D. The iso and settings varied, I shot part of the day on manual and part on aperture priority.

Lovely shots, all that's missing is a Frog
Did you catch any fish? I had a look at your other photos from the link,
couldn't see any fish shots.

If you like the smile you should see his hair, two days after the fishing shot he convinced his Mom to dye his hair blue. By blue I mean electric blue, his hair is as blue as a police crusiers light in your rear view mirror. I had a few shots of it but I can't seem to put my finger on them at the moment. I'll get some in the next few days. I need to do another portrait of them, the hair would be a great excuse.
