Mom was cleaning out her barn and gave me a print she no longer wants. Now, I wonder…

Who signed this print? What’s it worth?

I know this is a long shot, still….I’m asking.

In 1987, a couple of years before he passed, my step-dad was photographed and given this print. He was living in LA at the time. Although not the best shot of him, and though it’s suffered a little bit from being poorly stored, it is kind of a cool print. I like the rich warm tones. I believe the catchlights in his eyes were added to the print by hand.

I’d like to know if the photographer was well-known (famous) or not. Maybe someone here will recognize the signature?

I’d also like to know what this 13.5” x 18” canvas paper print might be worth…and knowing who shot it might be helpful.

It is possible that a renowned photographer may have done this work since the subject of the photo is Jock O’Mahoney who was Tarzan #13, had two TV series: the Range Rider and Yancy Derringer, played other film and TV roles, and was Hollywood’s most respected stuntman (Burt’s flick “Hooper – The Greatest Stuntman Who Ever Lived” was about Jocko).

So…can anyone here recognize the signature?

Here is a link to the gallery with my larger images of this print for your inspection.

I’d love to hear from you.
