This is both heoric as well as lens-e-rotic :wink
I would never take a lens apart myself, would you?

While I find the description fascinating, I feel the need to remind others not to attempt dismantling their own lenses and such as it most certainly voids any remaining warranty on the lens, introduces the possibility of contamination into the lens (dust mostly) and basically may destroy your lens if you lose one of the (many) small parts or re-assemble incorrectly or scratch an inner lens element etc.

In other words I and the Digital Grin do not recommend this treatment of your equipment and cannot be held responsible if you mess up.

(But if you do mess up, be sure to report it back here so we can say, "I told you not to do it. :D)
