Just noticed that a visitor had tried to check out my 'video' (made from still photos).

Apparently it does not work any more? :huh

Would this be an issue created by some changes by SM? Cus I know I never made any changes to the file.

Tried to load it with FF3 and IE 6. Seemed to work last week when I checked it out.

link to the gallery.

Thanks

Mine quit working when I downloaded FF3. The video still works fine at my office where I am forced to use IE6. There is probably a FireFox plugin that we need to download and install to get it working again.

Hmmm.....it isnt working on this computer using FF3 or IE6...I'm going to redownload and reinstall quicktime...see if that helps.

Although I am noticing using IE6, that I get some odd (square) charactors where the spaces go between the words on the gallery description.

"slideshow" thread? This will address my video issue? headscratch.gif

    I'll check it out...

Its not the slideshow as you load the main page - its the video I made in that one gallery that isnt working

If you're on Windows, the video plays in Flash. Our slideshow is also done in Flash, so the same basic troubleshooting steps apply.

In FF3, we currently have a conflict with a plugin, Ad-blocker, that is wreaking havoc with our Flash stuff. If you have Ad-blocker running, can you try completely disabling it from the Add-ons menu?

That might be my problem. I'll disable adblocker when I get home and give it another try.

Thanks Sheaf - I actually already disabled, AND uninstalled Ad-blocker - didnt help.

    MUST be FF3.

    removing all add-ons worked.

Removing (uninstalling) Ad-blocker did not help.

    +1
I was having issues with video after installing FF3. Disabling Adblock (through FF, not just temporarily disabling through the adblock menu) did the trick for me.

Is this an issue with the add-on or something in the way SmugMug handles video?
