Took a trip to Cumberland Falls KY this week. I started playing around in CS3 trying to create an IR look on this photo.
Taking a trick from Kelby's book, I put the background layer back on top when I was done and reduced the opactity to ~50%. The effect I thought was awesome...kind of looked like a scene from the movie 300. I do wish the sky was a touch more blue.

The trick is from Scott Kelby's Adobe Photoshop CS3 Book for Digital Photographers, pages 358-359.
I know Barnes and Noble stocks this book. There are only 5 steps in the lesson so it is pretty simple.
