I managed this shot today, along with way too long spent trying to get one in flight. Good grief, that seems impossible! I used my 70-200 f/4 L IS, set a distance on manual focus, used rapid fire and tried to get one when it flew within the correct range. Later I realized I should have increased the DOF and maybe that would have helped a little bit. Any tips on getting such a capture? Maybe a wider angle lens and just getting a bit closer? There were 2 or 3 flying around me and getting really close at times, but my 70-200 required a bit more distance. Anyway...I would say I'm decent at not centering things too much, but I'm not sure how to not center this sort of subject at least a little bit.
