Back from the Colorado in Grand Canyon

I've returned from 167 hours floating through Grand Canyon, another day on the rim, and a few more wandering around Northern Arizona in general. So,
I'm hoping some of you might take a moment to give me some comments on what I've come back with! I've become obsessed with the area, so I want to do it justice.

I enjoyed looking at your Colorado River photos. Now I want to go up and do that.

Getting from the rim of the canyon to the Colorado is a 9 mile hike, downhill one way. I did it in '72. It's an overnight hike. It took my wife and I all day just to go half way down and back in '92.

I like this series. Especially 5,6 and 7.

Wow what a great trip it must have been! You have really caught the ruggedness and rawness of the southwest in these shots. After seeing this set there is really no doubt why the place is as famous as it is. Wonderful shots

Wonderful series! These are so nice because they offer a glimpse at the little details that make that part of the US so unique! Well done!

Thanks for all of the comments! I've certainly fallen for the place, so I know I'll be making as many trips as possible, though it'd be cheaper if I found a job out there .
