Unable to save captions under pictures..no save button

Hmm, I'm not sure what happened but I cannot save captions. I can click 'edit' and then type but there is no 'save' button anymore. So typing typing the captions are useless as they won't save. I did have a slide show on the front page and kept getting IE Script Error pop ups. I've checked java scripts on the internet options and everything looks good... Took the slide show off and even reinstalled the whole internet browser but it's still the same. Any advice? Thank you so much!Lindsey
