Hey everybody,

I haven't posted in a while because I've spent the last year in Spain. These photos were taken June 22nd. I woke up early to drive from Los Angeles to San Diego to work with my friend and client, Lauren. We took photos for a couple of hours and then got fish and chips!

Afterwards I drove to UC San Diego and attended my Revelle College graduation :barb. Economics major :). AND at graduation my whole family went and I got to see my girlfriend again after five months of separation.

Photos taken with Canon 1DS, processed in lightroom. Used 3 lenses, Canon 50mm 1.8 MK II, 85mm 1.8 USM, 35mm F2. EDIT: I replaced a couple of photos with a faded-color post-processing tint.

Thanks again for taking a look.

    Hey Awais!

I remember your work. I just visited your website and read the interview you did with Smugmug... your work is truly inspiring for a street photographer like myself. After taking up the camera again after one year, I think that I will slowly ease back into street photography and see where it takes me :)

Hey Rhommel! Thanks for the feedback :) I agree with your comment on 19 and 20. I'm not a big fan of those puffy dresses because when you take a full-frontal shot and the waist area is fully-expanded, well, it's not the most flattering scenario :)

u got it! it would only work if the dress is somewhat see-through.. but that's more 'glamour' stuff and not suitable for younger subjects/models.

but technically speaking, 19 and 20 are good photos (exposure, color, etc)!
