What does Web Developer Tool Do?

Someone asked me to describe what the Web Developer Toolbar can do?
I went to the author website and, it's pretty much devoid of any general information on what it does in any kind of specifics.

BTW, it's awesome and Chris Pederick deserves a ton of thanks for creating such a wonderful / useful tool.

Is there another place I can direct my friend to, that will be more informative?
