I think this shot although moody and tech correct doesn't grab me. I know you can't pose things in the natural world, but something going on that fallen tree in back, i.e. someone fishing, animal hunting etc. would have made this shot.
Perhaps you can go back and wait it out. It looks like a place where plenty can happen
