Great shot! I really like the balance of tones between the sky and the water.
    Very nice mood and feeling.

Holy cow! Would you care to describe how you exposed for a shot like that, for the unenlightened?

Wow! That's a beautiful sunrise. Were the sky and water that different in color?
    Aloha!

    Thanks. It was early morning...6:34am

This was shot with a 3 stop GND (hard edge).

    Manual Exposure - 1/160 @ F11

    Matrix metering

Took a couple of test shots to ensure histogram looked okay.

Tripod was setup with remote trigger. I took about 20 shots trying to
get the best set of waves rolling thru the scene.

I consider the god beams a gift for getting there early to setup. As I never managed to get them quite that nice any of the other mornings I was out there.

As far as the post process..levels, curves, sharpness, contrast, sat...

Just trying to bring out the color that was already there..

    Thanks for the feedback..

    Cheers

    Dave

Everything about this shot is great! I love the dark orange/high-contrast color, the clouds, the waves in the foreground...
