Hot and sultry evening in Pennsylvania

Took a ride Saturday evening with a friend of mine to a State park to take some photos as the sun was going down. Enroute we noticed an eerie glow coming off the river as the sun was peeking through the mist. Neither one of us could pass this up so well pulled over to take a close look!

What I tried to do that day was get the sun obscured by the leaves of the trees to keep my camera from exposing for the sunlight as much as possible. In spite of that, the foreground in the originals was still a bit dark so I needed to do a little post-processing bring the shadows out a bit more: Shadow/Highlight Tool, Curves/Levels Adjustment, some dodging to bring out the sunlight a bit. That's about it. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/ne_nau.gif" border="0" alt="" >
