Hi Y'all,

Sorry for the absence but my son, dtr-in-law and four grandchildren descended on my home and I haven't had much time lately. I've been rather busy playing ganddad. My 4 year old grandson wanted to know if I had seen any dinsosaurs while I was growing up.

Anyhow here's a few pics from my last visit to St. Augustine.

not a great pic but it demonstrates the very how hard it is to get close to your subjects at St. Augustine. :ivar

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

lol3.gif Grandkids!...Gotta love'em! I bet if he saw the pics of these baby tri-colored herons blown up large, he might think you shot dinosaurs! Nice set Harry. thumb.gif

Absolutely stunning portraits, Harry. Those baby shots are very humorous. I especially like the wood storks. They always crack me up, but this nurtuing one is really special. You have beautiful grand kids. How much did you bribe them to pose like that?

Looking at your fantastic pictures, I wonder what the chicks ask their parents besides "When is my next meal?"

Thanks but i'm afraid that a blown up image of that tri-color might be too scay for a 4 year old. :yikes

My favorite line from my grandkids came from my eldest granddaughter. She once told me "You know grandpa when I have kids you'll be dead". :lol4

Thanks Joel, for some strange reason I love to capture woodstork images.

It was a snap to get the grandkids to pose. The main reason they like to visit Linda and me is because we have a pool. I just told them to pose or I would fill the pool with cement and turn it into a shuffleboard court. naughty.gif

Thanks much and from what I've observed the chicks' only question has been "Where;s the grub?"
