I took an impromtu trip to Algonquin Park in order to shoot some moose. I got there at 4:00AM and after walking a trail in the dark, I set up and waited. At, just after 6AM, I got these out of numerous shots:

Unfortunately, this cow moose was the only moose that I stumbled on (besides the ridiculous amount on the side of the road).

Stayed for one full day and night at the East Gate Motel in Whitney (terrific spot for local artisits and photographers and cheap!). I wanted to be able to get up before dawn.

I'll post some velvia-type reflection pics on the landscape forum. What would Algonquin be without some of those!:D

Those moose certainly are elusive. It'd have been nice to see a majestic bull.
