Jovita, Reflection is a lovely photo with a very peaceful mood. Also, I love autumn leaves in black and white.
Aaron, I think A Moment in Time is one of my favorites. I love the lighting.
Rhommel, those are a couple of outstanding portraits, but Amanda is just beautiful. In the photo, and in real life I'm sure.
Peterst6906, your abstract stairs are so eye-catching.
Aaron Newman, Shine On brings back some real memories from earlier this year.
Craig, your infared shots are amazing. Modifying your camera was a wise move on your part. You have an eye for infared.
Richtersl, Dismal Day is such a moody shot. Would make a great wall mural.
SciurusNiger, the catchlight in the squirrel's eye in both shots really draw me in.
Too many wonderful photos in this gallery. This is a thread that will be nice to visit again and again, like a museum. There will always be something new that stands out, even after the posting closes.

What a bunch of great shots.
It seems that a lot of folks still like taking/converting their shots in B&W.
I have to admit that I didn't think that this MC would get this much attention.
But it's great to have the Challenge forum getting back into the swing of things.:D
You folks have about 24 hours to get your shots in.
Then I'm going to need a few hours on Saturday to go though all of these.
One day, I started writing, not knowing that I had chained myself for life to a noble but merciless master. When God hands you a gift, he also hands you a whip; and the whip is intended solely for self-flagellation...I'm here alone in my dark madness, all by myself with my deck of cards --- and, of course, the whip God gave me." Truman Capote
here are some shot through the viewfinder of my old grungy unworkable anscoflex...
where are my pictures? Can anyone else see them. I am new here.... sorry. I don't see them, though the links are here?????????
I'm not sure what happened to your shots.
I was able to see them yesterday if I right clicked the box and opened it in a new window.
Today I get nothing.
Did you move these shots around in your smugmug site?
Normally that's what goofs up the link.

Some subjects simply beg for B&W. Of course, these particular subjects beg for nuts even more.

I wonder if Smugmug could be persuaded to host a gallery of the mini challenges. Not all, but say those pictures mentioned by our judges.
Dave, I do not envy your position, first runner up in the fifth seems perfect about now
