Hello Folks,

It's been a while since I've posted any osprey pics. So sorry. I've been busy ......having computer and camera issues. Have not completely resolved these issues. Did get the camera fixed and picked up a new one thanks to a good sale and rebates. The computer issues are another story.

I've been having Big problems with my monitors and calibration tool (doesn't help being color blind) Picked up a new fancy 24" widescreen wide gamut monitor. That ..quite possibly made some things worse. Need a new calibrator for the wide gamut color space and now many browsers do not work well with these wide gamut monitors. Sorry if the colors look off to you.

It's hard to know where I stand without this monitor being calibrated (other than eyeballing it and using some settings others have recommended for the Samsung 245T). I hear the new version of FireFox uses the color space tags and may reproduce images more correctly/closely? Hope the color and brightness are not too far off for you all. I worry the blue skies might look a bit pastel purpleish ?

Thanks for looking.

Anywho... here are some shots I've worked up.

Thanks for looking.

A little humor here. Diving Osprey. :biglaugh: (note the diving mask in the nest. Some poor kid is searching the beach for his mask) :biglaugh:

Another batch of pics to come soon.

Did the colors look way off ? Still working at getting this color correction stuff worked out. Need a new computer as well. This one is about to die.

Cheers

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Great set of images. Is the kid looking for his mask, or .....eek7.gif

I can see the next Hollywood wildlife terror flick, "Osprey...Terror from Above".

Joking aside, really nice photos. You got a little of everything in this set. Personally I'm fond of the BIF with fish compositions thumb.gif

Fantastic action. Love the eyes. Other than a few photos, mainly the first three, being a tad bright on my monitor, everything else looks very nice. I really like four and nine and the second to last photo.

    Very nice pictures, Mike...
Mike...these are incredible. I've been trying to get the Osprey around here to pose for me, but I haven't come anywhere close to the clarity you have! Great job and thanks for sharing. I especially ike the ones with the trout...great captures!
